Local Trips
The Georgia Sea Kayakers host local paddling trips as a convenient way for members to fit paddling into busy schedules. The trips are held once each month and last 4 to 5 hours. The pace is relaxed with time to enjoy the scenery. Two of the trips scheduled each quarter are located within an hour's drive of Atlanta. The third trip each quarter may be up to two hours from Atlanta, but is still designed as a practical day trip.
Coordinators are needed for the trips with "open" coordinator assignments. If you would like to volunteer as a coordinator, please send an email to administrator@georigakayakers.com or post a comment on the Local Trips discussion forum.
